3 little monkeys...

jumping on the bed.  This past 2 weeks we have been very lucky to be able to hang out with Rob's family, including all of Adriana's Etchepare cousins.  Last week we went up to Cheyenne and hung out with Katherine, Jack and Sofia; John and Corrina's kids.  We had a blast and well, as you can see, the girls had a great time together.  Katherine was great at teaching Adriana all sorts of things and Sofia, well, she is credited with getting Adriana interested in baby dolls.  And Jack, well, he is the only one that Ade will let give her a big ol' hug and kiss.    They are becoming the best of friends.

More pictures to follow of the week with the Etchepare clan...

Love my mommy and daddy

As I am sure all kids do at this age, Adriana loves her mommy and daddy.  I learned this week a little more than the average toddler (or should I say more attached), but hey, I am not complaining.  Many perks come with it and one of them is constant hugs.  She loves to come up behind you and give you a big hug.  It is very sweet and well, Rob and I love it!  It can make your whole day or brighten up those tough days.  Just one more reason she makes every day so much better for both us!!

Denver is the new Seattle

So this month has been pretty rainy in Denver and apparently next week we are in for a full week of more.  I never thought when I bought Adriana a raincoat and boots, they would be put to much use.

As you can see, she loves them.  The boots are the best.

Hats!

Adriana is learning to love her hats as much as I love giving them to her.  This was after I tried to take it off.  She was not having it.  So sweet! (It isn't great quality, it was from my phone....I never have the camera when I need it!)

Telephone

Here is a picture of Adriana talking away on the phone.  She is very good at it.  She "talks" then pauses, then talks again, having a conversation just like mommy and daddy.  Funnily, she won't do it if someone is actually on the other end of the phone, then she just listens and throws it.  But she has many great conversations with the phone throughout the day.  (it is probably why my cell phone is on its last leg)

Today she was watching Sesame Street as I took this picture and told the phone "I wa melmo".  Melmo is what we affectionately call Elmo, still our favorite monster on the entire planet.   We wake up in the morning and instead of asking for Clyde we now ask for Melmo.  Poor Clyde.  He is now 2nd to a red muppet.  But in her defense, Elmo doesn't try to eat the feet on her pjs and drag her around the bedroom.  :)
