My first official haircut

The finished product...which you can't see because it is in ponytails...but she is cute anyway
I don't know about this...
This might be ok...
Oh man! She sprayed me.

So 3 months after she turned 2, we decided it might be time to finally get a haircut. Adriana is not blessed with a lot of hair and it is very very thin. Unfortunately that is something she inherited from me. I have done a couple trims here and there and after months of driving me crazy with her not being able to see (which oddly never bothered her) we decided to do cut it.

Now, to say I had apprehension about it, is an understatement. Why you ask? It is a haircut. Yes. It is just a haircut. But my daughter....well she is 2. And has tantrums regularly. Yes I know, if i am this stressed about a haircut, can you imagine?? The next 16 years are going to be rough. Anyway, she also has a strong aversion to being sprayed with water so we were expecting some drama....

But I am happy to report that she did awesome! She didn't cry and I actually think she kind of enjoyed it. They lady sprayed her with the water bottle and she flinched but didn't make a peep. She is getting to be a big girl!

Happy Easter!

She is so cute!
Happy happy
Beautiful day!

Daddy helping me find eggs
I found one!
Nothing better than an Easter cupcake (after eating a lb of candy)
Cousin shot, almost all looking at the camera, minus Ade, oh well. :)

This year we spent Easter in Fort Collins with the Etch family. Adriana realized about 3 weeks before Easter that all the sudden there were bunnies all over the stores and candy, so much candy, and wondering what it was all about. (Commercialism at its peak) She was very excited to get to search for eggs and Grandpa and Grandma's house was perfect place to find them. She had a blast with all her cousins. It was a great day.

And yes, sailor suit for Easter. Not sure why, but she was adorable!
