4 month check up

Adriana is 4 months old tomorrow so we had her check up today.  She did very well.  As well as you can do getting 5 shots in one sitting.   But she is tough.  It was very traumatic for mommy...and tiring for baby.  She slept in her car seat for an hour after we got home which is definitely not in her nature.

The doctor said she is doing very well physically and developmentally she is right on target.   

Here are her stats.

Current weight: 13 lbs. 5 ounces

Current height:  25 1/4 inches

She is long and lean.  

NFL Draft Day

So this weekend was the big NFL draft.  Most people don't really give too much thought to it but in the Etchepare house, it is a big deal.  Adriana spent all Saturday watching the draft with her dad.  She seemed to be more excited about the Bronco pics than the Raiders pics, much to her dad's dismay....

Sitting and screaming

So just a quick update on Miss Adriana. She is very determined these days to sit up by herself but doesn't quite have that ability to do so. So I have been propping her up as much as possible so she feels like she is doing it on her own. It makes her very happy and freaks her out all at the same time. She has definitely found her voice over the past couple weeks. She is cooing and "talking" up a storm. She has also learned the art of screaming. Which is good and bad. It is very cute until she gets mad and displays what I like to call her drama queen scream. And amazingly, she can go from a happy scream to a mad scream all in the same breath. She is a tad bit emotional....don't know where she gets that. :)

She is just growing more and more each day. We have her 4 month check up next week so we will update you on all her stats then.

Pretty in Purple

So today I was trying to get some pictures of Adriana in this purple outfit because it is my favorite. I didn't really get any good pictures of the entire outfit (I am not a very good photographer as you can tell) but I did get some cute pictures I thought were worth posting. The first one is her award winning smile and the second one...well it seems to be a moment in between her ever changing facial expressions and it just made me laugh.

Take me out to the Ballgame!

Well today was supposed to be Adriana's first baseball game-first Braves baseball game. But as you can see, the weather did not cooperate. She was so excited (can't you tell by the picture?) for the game she got mommy up 4 times last night.....Needless to say we are both disappointed that we don't get to go. She had her hat ready and everything! There is always next year. And her hat is so big it will likely still fit then.
