Cruisin...

In the past few weeks, Adriana has become an exceptional crawler.  She has been crawling for about a month, but suddenly she has taken off.  I can't turn my back for 5 seconds and she has made it down the hall and into our room.  She is quite efficient.  She is also pulling herself up like crazy.  We have had a lot of falls and face plants and very sad moments, but it doesn't stop her determination.   She has also learned what no means when we say it to her.  And when I say that I mean she knows she is not supposed to do whatever she is doing but then she gives me this devilish grin and goes on with whatever she shouldn't be doing.   Sometimes she just laughs at me which was cute at first....but really not so much anymore.  :)

I wish she ate all food as well as she ate cottage cheese....maybe with a little less mess.

2 of my favorite things

No clothes and playing with clothes in the laundry basket.  Clothes are good toys but not really for wearing I guess.   (These are the pictures she will hate me for when she gets older...)

Halloween Part 3

Here are some pics from Halloween day.  Adriana made an adorable polar bear.   Rob dressed as a penguin to be her companion.   They went trick or treating with Simon and Brandt and had a good time.  She just loved being outside.  Rob had a blast.  This halloween was more for him I think.

Time for fall

So this weekend Rob took some pictures in the backyard of Adriana with the changing leaves.  She loves trees and pulling on the leaves, and as we discovered Saturday, eating them.  I can't imagine they taste very good and there was a lot of me sticking my finger in her mouth to fish them out which she did not appreciate.  But we got some cute pictures and a family photo.  

Adriana continues to be pretty happy.  We are back to not sleeping and she wakes up at 12 midnight every night and it takes a good hour to get her back to sleep.  It doesn't seem to phase her but it is killing me!  She has also started to crawl so she is getting very active.  She has successfully sought out everything in our living room that she is not supposed to touch and continues to gravitate to it.  The stereo equipment is her favorite.  I now know why people told me to cherish the days that she couldn't move on her own. :)
