So a few weeks ago we took Adriana to her first Rockies game since she was a baby. So really the first one she can remember... Rob and I went to a game for my birthday with friends and mistakenly forgot to take her. So all I heard for 2 weeks, on a daily basis, was "mommy, Grandpa came over and you went to the baseball and I cried, cried, cried. I wanted to go to the baseball". I guess I will never make that mistake again (or talk to Grandpa about not disclosing so much information....)

So we packed up, and headed down. She loved it and sat for the first 3 innings in our seats and cheered them on. 3 innings may not seem like much, but the Rockies were playing the Diamondbacks and scored 11 runs in those 3 innings. So it was over an hour. Pretty good for a 2 year old. She really was disappointed that she couldn't get on the field and play, so we took her to the toddler "batting cage" where she fell in love with tee ball and had a blast hitting balls. I must say, she is pretty good at it.

We had a blast. And really, her love of baseball and all sports, just makes her more and more our kid. It is like Rob's dream come true. :)
